August 2007, MMX purchases a COALMETER® 4000 The steel company MMX (Mineração e Metálicos S.A.) has decided to install a COALMETER 4000 system at its Corumbá mill (Brazil) to measure the volume of coal-sack loads on trucks as well as loose coal in containers. An auditing system will generate administrative reports. The Coalmeter 4000 will allow the Corumbá mill to measure trucks loads of more than 100 m³ of coal in less than a minute, significantly reducing current measurement times and greatly increasing accurancy. Installation of the system is scheduled for the end of this year. Back
