February 2008, LOGMETER® 4000 purchased by Aracruz In February Aracruz Celulose S.A. purchased a Logmeter 4000 unit to measure the solid volume of wood loads at the Teixeira de Freitas wood deposit, which supplies the Barra do Riacho mill, the largest pulp mill in the world. Logmeter 4000 will automatically meausure the wood loads in less than a minute using state-of-the-art laser technology. The measurements will be stored along with the results, images, and administrative information in an auditing system for later revision. The installation of the Logmeter is scheduled to begin in May of this year. Back
